For the most part, jewelry boxes seem to be way uglier than the baubles that go in them. The elegant acrylic of Muji’s jewelry case reverses that trend, allowing your jewelry to shine.

Someday, when I own a beach cabana (will this be before or after we purchase our urban pied-a-terre? since we’re playing with Monopoly money here, maybe we’ll buy them both on the same day!), this striped couch will be fab on the lanai after a day of frozen margaritas and marlin fishing.
Or, we could accept that we’re living on Baltic Ave instead of Boardwalk, plunk it in our living room, and call it a night. (Bonus: it converts to a full-size bed, perfect for visits from nieces and nephews.)

As one who has made frequent runs to the corner store for Sunday morning news, coffee, and egg sandwiches, I’m appreciative of pajamas that can be worn outside the house.
While not cheap, at what price dignity?

From one of my (and my daughter’s) favorite illustrators, this set of postcards is folksy and sweet, which is just how I like my 4th.
Happy Independence Day!

In my imaginary pied-a-terre, the living room features a Victorian plaster fireplace that becomes perfectly accessorized at my housewarming party, when one of my elegant, kind, rich friends swoops in and plants this urn on its mantel.

I’m not exactly sure how this ice cream maker works, but if it can produce creamy frozen deliciousness anywhere, such as, say, on the subway, then who really cares?

Since my family’s recent blowout garage sale, I’ve been in a nostalgic-yet-practical mood. That is, I want to keep the flotsam of my past, but only if it’s useful and memorable in my present, not sitting 8 boxes deep in the garage. Enter this gorgeous light: by slipping in your old slides, you can create a permanent, rotating show that displays how memorable your life is, then as now.

My patience has been rewarded: Subversive for Target’s GO collection has finally been cleared for clearance, and I’m getting this cluster of jewels to dress up my white t-shirts.
(To be honest, I’d prefer this version of the necklace, but for a savings of $2358.01, I’ll take what I can get.)

While $120 may seem steep for a kid’s suitcase, this will be the kind of iconic wheely they’ll carry on throughout college. As a loyal LeSportsac wearer, I guarantee that its Teflon fabric will last longer than your kid’s desire for it.
